Where people walked around on stages and auctioned off cakes.

What happened to the balloon between two teen dancers?

Am I just getting old ? Cause that sucks.

What other socializing games do you all remember that have all but disappeared?

I don't remember either of those things. I remember my mom talking about jacks-I've seen what they look like but have never played-or even know how to play for that matter.

Marbles... you draw a circle on the ground about a foot wide. You put you marbles in the middle mixed up with your friends marbles. You take your "basher" I think thats what it was called. Then you try and flick the marbles you want out of the circle. You get to keep the marbles you knock out.


Jacks... well you had a little red ball that got to bounce one time, and you tried to pick up the little "jacks"s off the ground between each bounce.

Chinese whispers. Can cause chaos or great mirth.

Hop scotch and double dutch.
Red rover, and what time is it mister wolf?...rocked!

Spin the bottle. Classic game for 5 year olds.
