I know this has been asked before, but....

What are some stupid cliche's you're sick of hearing regarding your job? Example was when I worked for Wells Fargo everyone and his brother used to say "hey, money man! Got any free samples?" (Congratulations! You're the 100th idiot today to tell me that!) As a catering truck driver I always heard "roach coach". When I worked at a donut shop it was "time to make the donuts" about a dozen times each hour. What are your's?

Lots and lots of negative comments about how sleazy lawyers are

lol! I was always called "rent a cop" when I worked security.

Guilty of using that one haha

When I was A waitress I would hear , " Here's a tip" Look both ways before crossing the street '

When I worked with the CMHA which deals with Mentally Disabled people. I would get asked at the end of the day "So! How many times did you talk to yourself".

When I used to work in a supermarket and I offered, 'would you like any cash back?'
I often got, 'only if it's coming out of your account!'

Haw. Haw.

And some people who spend more than thirty quid think 'I only came in for some bread' is a real conversation starter...

"Will you fix my computer?"


They usually mean it though

One slogan at my work is "______ Makes Your Hamburger a beautiful thing." So after people have their burgers they're like "Now that's a beautiful thing!"

Gee, how many times do you think I've heard that!
