My dog's collar broke and he took off, a half hour ago, 4:30 am so I can't go screaming after him. I took his ball out, called quietly and squeaked it a few times. I gave up and came home, started crying like crazy. My boyfriend told me to kept looking, so I went to my car, with his leash, halti, and his ball. I figured mom would call me, wondering where I went (if she woke up), so I came back down to get my cell phone. I went back up the stairs to my car, and my dog was standing in front of it. I've never been so scared. He's home safe and sound now.

I'm glad he's safe, I know what it's like to have a pet go missing.

Phew! My heart was in my mouth reading your post - right up to the end when you said your dog was now home safely.
Unless you've had pets you cannot imagine the sheer agony of losing one. I'd have been shouting up the whole neighbourhood regardless of the time if that'd been me!
(my neighbours don't exactly love me anyway, so I got nothin' to lose!)
Anyways, I'm glad it ended happy for yous.

Glad to hear you got your friend back. Pets really know how to scare us. D:
