Igloos and dogsleds

Did you know I live in an igloo, drive a dogsled and have a pet beaver?? I sure do, and we only got the internet two years ago, it's fascinating.

No but really, my boyfriend's friend asked me once if we needed a license to drive in Canada, and I told him you don't need a license to drive dog sleds. Then he knew I was toying with him and he started playing along.

Him - Do you need dog sled insurance?
me - You don't HAVE to, but it's recommended, although, the worst that happens is your dogs get tangled with someone elses, and then the cops have to come with the beavers so they can chew through the knotted ropes.

And we don't have guns. We use hockey and lacrosse sticks to defend ourselves.

Don't forget the toques, eh?

I keep a pile of snowballs by the door.

Dont forget that our porches double as a freezer.

We actually did last year, we didn't have room in the fridge so my mom put a pot of stew, or roast out on the porch

I did that one year, but not because I wanted to; my idiot roommate at the time, woke me up and said that the refrigerator had went on the blink, no humming coming from it, it was quiet as a mouse..

So the both of us empty out all of our frozen food from the freezer, the stuff from the fridge, milk, butter and such...put it out back in the snow in the yard, and go back to bed...

About 5 minutes later the refridgerator starts humming.
The fan was only taking it's usual break, and she thought it was broken.
...we left the stuff in the yard over night, and I gotta tell you, that was the best freezing our food ever had!
