how would this make you feel?

I feel like this is my house and I pretty much run my house. I clean it, do the dishes and fix anything that needs fixing. well, Darrell comes home from his parents house the other day and informs me that I NEED TO CLEAN MY EFFING HOUSE BECAUSE HIS GRANDMA IS STAYING HERE! WTF? I don't understand how his mom has the authority to decide wtf is going to happen to MY gosh darn house! I never said she could, I don't want her to, but I have to! even though its my freaking house! and im supposed to be ok and do as HIS MOTHER SAYS!!!!! wtf. how would that make you feel?

Don't get me started!!! All I can say is I can relate.

I live here and have for two years. Darrell pays rent just so he doesn't have to pay child support so yes, this is my house. like I said, I run the show. his parents do not live here so they have no right to decide what happens. it wouldn't be so bad but im pregant and have thirteen dogs, two cats and an eight month old im trying to take care of. I don't need another person.

right now I don't! I can't even make decisions about what will happen! wtf, nobody would feel like it was.

If my wife (room mate, girlfriend, etc) came home and told me that I need to "clean my efing house" I would take a two or three day beach vacation.

"Honey we need to clean up a little" works. Orders...not at home...not from my partner.

his mom was the one who said it. Darrell and I are broke up and hve been for awhile. he never tells me to clean the house unless it has to do with hi family. its the fact that they didn't bother to consult me before deciding. I was told she would be staying in my house.

Nobody that lives in my house with me tells me that I need to get to cleaning the effing house. If he were to say that to me , I'd say knock yo self out romeo , it's your family , your responsibility I'm carrying your offspring you clean.

I was just informed that mom (mother-in-law or mother-in law to be) was involved...she can stay out of it also.

lol his mom runs his life. it makes me sick. im soooo tired of him telling me how to do stuff. "cook the chicken like this, my mom does." or "ill call my mom and find out how to cook that". im a really good cook and he admits it but he can't make decisions without her. she even tried to tell me how to do my taxes.


and wild, I agree. I told him that. I do his laundry, cook, and keep everything clean and tidy anyways so if he feels its not good enough go for it!

Just take the bull by the horns, and say, this is how it's going to be!!

It's your house, so, might as well take this step now, before it gets worse, and it only will you know, if you let them have their way.
