First of all, the new system specifically prohibits users from giving the same user a kudos twice in a row. If this is not happening for you (it certainly is for me), then that is a simple bug.

Second of all, the old system specifically did allow you to kudos the same person several times in a row. So how is the new system allowing you to do it worse, when that's the way the old one was?

Yeah, I just got 3 kudos saying test, I doubt it's just a bug.

The new system has 50 kudos, which means I can spam you 50 times. The only system only has 10, making kudos more valuable than they are now.

Well, you can kudos spam someone.. but only until they reach #2 on your "kudos received" list. Then you can't kudos them again. At all.

Interesting change. I think it will really force people to either not use kudos or spread the kudos around a lot. I still don't see the problem.

Well I have a problem with that.

Your actually second on my kudo list. The people that I give the most kudos to actually deserve them. I don't generally just hand them out. And now I can't "reward" someone that I feel may have said something of importance if they are already up there on my list.

Well you see, if the top two people are about 50 kudos above everybody else, you need to give out pointless kudos to somebody till you get that person to be in your top two on your list, but that person probably didn't deserve it, and you would waste your time trying to give a kudo to the person you want.

This is going to be very hard for me. My top person got 30 kudos from me {positive ones} and that was jonnythan. Now that's going to be hard to kudo him when he makes great points.

But I really like the change, although I did kudo for valid comments and helpful, Interesting ones. Never just to tell them they were Banana Hammocks.

It's mildly annoying, sure, but by the same token it's a reminder to consider spreading some kudos around to other people.
