Slackers!!!!!

I can't stand lazy a** coworkers. People who always call out and then when they do finally decide to show up at work, they don't do a darn thing, and then you have to pick up their slack! They act as if there is nothing wrong with that picture! They are a waste of space and payroll!

I sympathsize. On my last evaluation, my boss said that I really didn't do much around the place. Wrong. Most of the time, I was the only one working. Everyone else would be in a corner somewhere talking.

"No, bossy boss boss didn't tell me to do that, he just said he needed it to get done, I'm not doing it until he tells me.

I have a coworker who actually told me that.

Yes! Exactly! Good deeds always go unnoticed and/or unrewarded.

There is no point to doing that....our manager is fully aware of this. Don't understand it. He is another one that doesn't want to do his job. Yet, I press on and do mine(and everyone elses'. I don't believe in going to work "for free" and I believe that if you pay me to do a job, I am gonna do it, as it should be.

Good on you but isn't there somewhere you can report this kind for behavior like some sort of supervisor that is beyond your manager?

I guess I could, but I don't like making waves, and I probably would be viewed as the troublemaker. However, I am really thinking long and hard about doing just that(going to a higher up).

Yes, it does. It's so annoying because I would stuff without being told and got a bad evaluation while some of my coworkers would feel the need to announce to the world every little job they did and got good evaluations.

there is nothing worse at work than that..............and if you snitch, they still remain working, & you'll probably let go.

at my husbands work, they are in a union, and slackers can do what they want.....when they want & call in sick when they want. They can get away with anything there.


Most don't do diddily-squat, while others running around with their heads cut off to finish the job so they can go home! The employer knows who the good workers are, but they cannot give them a raise, in a union, they all make the same wages.
