Because if you're going around threatening other nations and never act on the threats then you'll be seen as a barking dog. And other nations might act on the threats too, just because the US is a superpower doesnt mean it should go around telling other countries what to do. I think Ronald Reagen is one of the greatest president because he know how to talk small and carry a big stick.

They could have been and will be , but it is going to take longer the way they have chosen. If they had let the world community in and open some of their doors instead of living behind that iron curtain it would be easier for them.

They have made some choices that the world frowns on. Helping Iran, voting with China in the UN, etc..

Reagan didn't have to threaten anyone; Iran just knew he was a man of his word, and they knew not to screw with him. He never talked small, he talked with the force of America behind him.

Actually his string controllers and wife did that. His best moment was in one of his grade b movies -- the one where the monkey outwitted him.

Wrong, Reagan was an outstanding president. Example after example can be provide, but those who wear blinders and/or liberals can not see past their entitlements.

For you to make that statement just shows you have no ideas about the man's past as governor of Calif. and what he did for the conservative party.

Yes towards the end he suffered some health issues, but his outstanding VP stepped up to the plate and did a wonderful job.
