I'm no party pooper, honest.

But it's nearly 1am and the're are some inconsiderate f**kwits still letting off fireworks and making a general din celebrating the new year. There's been no rowdy parties this year, at least none I could hear. But somewhere, close, somebody still thinks it's ok to be letting off fireworks an hour after midnight.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable, OK I'm awake, but I'm sure there are plenty of people trying to get back to sleep.

Yeah, forgot the animals. I can see the attraction of letting a few off just after midnight, but for so long afterwards is just damn rude!

I think fireworks laws need a little tightening, isnt it against the law to set them off after a certain time? Not that the police would have time to go arresting people for setting off fireworks when New Years is the king of the domestic disputes heap.

Ahhh well, at least its once a year, apart from bonfire night, weddings, diwali, birthdays, halloween, valentines etc etc.

I think it's illegal to set them off after 11pm, or so I was told...

But yeah we have people around the corner who must stock up on thousands of pounds of fireworks on Bonfire Night because they are always letting them off for hours, whatever occasion. It irritates the s*** out me, and scares my pets.

Well I am a party pooper. I hate any loud noise whatsoever

I am so sick of my neighbours keeping me awake all night every weekend. Just because they are unemployable bums doesn't mean that the rest of us don't have to get up early.

I hate loud cars driving past. I hate loud music in cars going past. I hate people talking loudly walking past my house. I want to sleeeeeeeeep! And I want people to stop waking my son up. It takes hours to resettle him!

So, if you are walking down the street talking loudly in Adelaide, Australia, look out
