Ok... I have a piece of land with a square hole 3.30m wide by 5.70m long... 0.40m deep... what volume is that?

I'm trying to work out how much sand I need to fill it... so if you can work it out in tonnes instead that would be great

Ok its 7.524 metres cubed
If i assume you mean dry sand for the moment. The density of dry sand is 1602 kg per metre cubed
So you would fit 12053.448 kg in there
which is 12.053488 tonnes
hope that helps
