Mushrooms

That type grow out horizontally from the tree but there are others that grow on the ground and are called Puff Balls. They are perfectly round and I've seen one the size of a basket ball. I know these make good eating so they usually get picked very quickly by the first person who finds them.

But they can grow to be the full of your arms in one ball.

My old boss thought I was a mushroom. He kept me inthe dark about everything and fed me nothing but s***.

I tried to take some more photos of mushrooms today but they aren't that good.

And this is the type that you can eat? My goodness! You could feed an army with one shroom.

The only time I've seen the giant puff balls are used was for making like a mushroom soup when there were loads of people to feed at one time.

By the time I got into the wood today most of the mushrooms had been either picked or eaten by critters (as you can see from the nibbles on some of the photos)
