Countries Concerns?

I searched and did not find a topic on this but if anyone finds one post the link

Anyways on another thread there was talk o f a superior race/country. And I suggested that superiority should not be one of the main concerns of a country.

So what do you think should be some of the top concerns of a particular country, either your own or another?

In my opinion, I think the US (the country I think to know the most about) should target their concerns to mostly what is going on in this country and chill on the helping of other countries for a bit.

There are plenty of problems that the US has inside the borders that needs attention rather than globe trotting looking for problems in other countries to fix. Problems such as pollution, unemployment, hunger, immigration, and the list goes on.

the u.s is devided into those who like others and those who dont, democrats and republicans...thats how it will always be in order to maintain a stable goverment..

Simply put, FREEDOM. Government should only have 3 tasks: Protect individual rights, Protect the individuals(Military), and punish those individuals that impede on another's rights (police and courts).

What do you mean helping other countries? There's no such thing as helping other countries.
It's taking advantage of some and ripping off other countries. Sorry, but that's how I see it.

I said "helping other countries" just to avoid this kind of confrontation, the US is saying the reason we go into other countries and such is to help them. My personal opinion is that we dont do anything in the realm of that but that is what is said.

I agree that helping is not what we are doing but I dont think "ripping off" is the right word either.
