New tax rates for heavier vehicles.

That's an awesome idea.

Anything that makes larger, heavier [less fuel efficient, more destructive] vehicles more expensive to own will drive down the number of them on the road.

I'm all in favour of hitting the SUV's and the other similar vehicles hard financially. The number of these tanks that are on our roads doing the school run and taking Mummy to coffee mornings is a real waste of earths resources.

All i can say is GOOD, im sick of mothers in SUV's who only drive to school and marks and spencers. Why do they need something like that? Tax them high - fight the b****es
