Can anyone help me determine what my 10yo son told me today?
He was out on the dirt road that runs the length of our property. He noticed a white dog that he has never seen before. His description of the dog was medium hair length and about a foot and a half tall. He soon lost sight of the dog. Suddenly after the dog "disappeared", a large man appeared, took 2 steps forward, then turned and went into the woods of our property. He describes the man as being almost as wide as tall, short black cropped hair, a less than bronze complexion, and wearing only a pair of blue shorts. He then actually went to see what the man was doing and found that the entire treeline along the road was too thick for him to walk through, let alone a guy as large as that. Also he states that there was no sound at all with the dog or man.
The only thing I can find that is remotely close to this is Cynanthropy. I first thought a faerie may be the culprit for some of their shape shifting capabilities.
Any help is appreciated.
I don't think you should allow your son to wander off alone through the woods especially when he has seen a man clad only in his shorts approach him. I would call the police and keep closer tabs on my child.
