what is your definition of a subculture?

(a very clever question to mask the fact that you don't really know what the hell a subculture is)

A subculture:

A culture wich reveres the sandwich as the greates food of all time, filling said sandwich with all manner of things that they deem worthy to be carried forth in the holy "sub". For decades there was peace amongst the subcultures, but that all ended(as is commonly known) during the riots of Majonaise Week in '63.

A subculture could be described as a culture within a larger culture. A circle within a circle, if you will.

People are gregarious, however if the numbers within their social groups swell to more than a few hundred, then they tend to divide into 'Sub Cultures.'
eg. Schools which have a lot of pupils, often sub-divide their activities. Names like 'Chess Clubs' .. 'Music Associations'..........the more bizarre go in for Javelin Catchin and other sports.
You will see it happening outside the ecucational establishements, in hospitals, factories and in the armed forces.

My definition of a subculture is a group of people who agree on absolutely everything (or at least one very significant topic) and get together to discuss it and look the same.
