So your suggesting that as god he has no choice weather he knows everything or not?

I didn't realize there were choices that god didn't have the power to make.

Doesn't sound like a god who can do anything.

Sound like one thats a slave to the information it's created.

which is honestly more believable to me then an all controlling god

btw

that x-men thing i watched it, i loved the movie that i'm going to go see it in theaters to.

A forum is not the place for this kind of question if you want an informative and credible answer.

One cannot summarize their monotheistic spirituality too effectively in a single post.

If you really want to know, just stop by a church and talk to the pastor. If he's worth his weight in biblical knowledge he should be able to soundly account for his beliefs.

God exists in every corner, you just need to look for him. There aint no person I fear in the world, only God. I am praying for you. God bless you.

Responding to the very first post, The theory isnt that we descended from monkies. It is believed that we shared a common ancestor with the chimps, which are NOT monkies, and that some of us learned to walk bipedal, or with two legs, and some of us reamined on four legs. That is the theory.

And im an atheist, So personally i think all of you are religious nuts . I'm just kiddin ya. I respect the fact that you think some all-might entity is watching over us, and that you still carry that belief after all the horrible things that have happened of the span of the human era.

I heard atheists think that when they die they come back as a tree... Or is that just Dane Cook saying that?

Yes, that was Dane Cook. Generally, we don't beleive we come back in any form, but, our bodies get eaten, or rot and break down into their basic elements, and become nutrients and building blocks for other organisms. Naturally, this can be a very long process if one is enbalmed and sealed in a steel casket. Personally, I plan to be buried in a pine box with holes drilled in the bottom to speed up the process.

Thats nice, have fun when you go into the blackness that is death. As for me, I will(hopefully)go to heaven. Say what you want but honestly whats better? Rotting in the ground or heaven?

There's no way anyone could ever go to heaven. Apparently, even living is a sin to you people, isn't it. At least that's what the bible says, but you can't trust a book full of lies and contradictions.

First of all, new member here. Had to join for this Church of IDK discussion. When asked, I have always (half-jokingly) referred to my beliefs as IDK. It is great to find that I'm not the only one!

@solevil Said

And also, you wouldn't need anything like medicine and stuff, there would be no sickness and no need for this stuff. There would be no killing no pain just happiness, more or less.

This makes no sense at all. We are part of the Animal Kingdom, and all animals suffer sickness, pain, and death. So, are you saying that my cat gets sick and suffers pain because A&E acquired knowledge, making god mad? Wow, what a mean-spirited supreme being!

Give me a bloody break.

I don't think you realise the irony of that statement...

I was kind of getting at the fact that if you look for God in every corner, of course you will find Him. Because you want to, and you are predisposed to.
