Is race just a myth?

I don't think people are saying we should discriminate- but the differences are there and they are a classification be it called race or subspecies or phenotype or ..... you get the picture.

That's talking about plants. As far as humans go, there are no separate races biologically speaking unless you want to get into neanderthals.

Race is used. The terms have been used interchangebly with intragrade, morphs, etc etc. I'm a birder. We call them morphs or races when the same Genus species. Hard to say. Nenderthal would be a different species of the same Genus.

Though I mostly agree with you El Tino. If you ask anyone who is black, red, yellow, brown, white- they can do a pretty good job separating by skin tone.

As an interesting side bar.
My youngest was confused in pre-school mixing up white and black. I finally figured out what was the root cause. He'd point to his mom's jet black hair and say it was white. And white was black. That's when I heard my wife exclaiming "my hair's turning white!"
