| 1 Corinthians 4:20 - For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. - We all like to have power and usually the more the better, but what kind of power we want and our motivations are what interests God. It doesn't always seem like it, and sometimes they even suffer for their faith, but those who know Jesus Christ have real power. As God says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 - ...my power is made perfect in weakness... This may not sound right to us, and not how we would do it but is the way God wants it, so we can rejoice about our weakness. As he says in Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. It's a good thing for us that his ways are not like our ways or he probably wouldn't have sent his son Jesus to die for our sins.
