Hello! I am a newb to this site, however, I am not a n00b. I am good with the "Forum Etiquette"
I am from www.youthink.com, and lately I have been getting bored of it, so I have decided to check out this site and see what it offers. 
If I end up likeing this site, then I will stay, and you will be seeing me a LOT, because when I like things, I get really addicted...
I've read most of the FAQs, and this site certainly seems interesting. I like a lot of the systems you guys use here, like the point system. But the Kudos system, I am not too sure of, because let's say that someone doesn't like a person because of their beliefs, and so they give that person's journal negitive kudos, and then it ends up that the person gets a lot of negitive kudos from people, even though his journal wasn't breaking the rules.
Wouldn't that be unfair if his journal got deleted because of that?

About the kudos thing, the staff monitors all negative kudos given out. If the system is being abused, that user is punished. So if someone is having a problem with negative kudos, simply report it to a mod/admin and we'll take care of it for you  |

Now the only problem I have with this site is that it just takes a while to load pages. I don't think it's my computer or internet connection because it is loading other websites up fine.
Am I the only one with this problem?
We've been having some weird server issues, so it's not just you. Just gotta stick with it while el_tino (site owner) works on it. Nothing much else to do, unfortunately  |

Wow, I never knew that.
I once had a couple of spates of negatives by someone who remains nameless.
The next day someone had been through them all and positived them all back!! |

I see this site hasn't been around too long --only since 2004.
Maybe once the "slow" problem gets fixed I will start using this site regullary, but as for now, I think I am going to stick to www.youthink.com.
Or maybe I will stay here. Who knows? The people here seem nicer... |

Hello there and welcome to TFS. This is a great site and it is full of very nice people. Yes sometimes it gets slow but Tino is always working to get things operating smoothly. Today just happens to be one of those days when the pages load slowly. We have lots of good times here and we have a very dedicated staff who is always willing to help out with a problem when we can. I hope you enjoy it and I"m sorry that you are having problems with slow to load pages. |

| Another thing I'm slightly confused about:
In the FAQs it says swearing and vulgar language is not accepted, but I've seen people swear on here before, and it wasn't censored or deleted. What's up with that? |

| The site will work slow for everyone including Vista and OSX Tiger users because of the amount of information the computer has to read to enter the site. We all see how many pictures and posts there are, that is the main reason why the site runs slow. And no, it it not a server problem.
