Rantings of an extrodinarily loud lunatic
Graduation party
June 17, 2006 @ 10:51:08 pm
Last night was my graduation party at school. I don't think any of you know, but I'm going to a private school next year. I probably won't see many of my old classmates again.

So to give you a play by play, we sat through a long and fairly boring graduation ceremony, still the idea of not going to school anymore hadn't sunk in yet. I was wearing my expensive top hat and would be going directly to my party so I met up with my family in the crowd who graciously have me my cheap bowler hat and a RockStar Energy Drink. I needed the energy drink because I had been so tired all week. I went into the party as the first of my friends to get there and grabbed some food. My friends eventually all met up with me, and we had a very nice feast; we had a very nice, free feast. As we were finishing up our meal, Michael checked out the map of events. They had kareoke (if that's in fact how you spell it), so we decided to sing Yellow Submarine. After we, the first group to do kareoke, were done, people started lining up to sing.

Now we decided to go into the dance. My friends and I are crazy dancers. We do moves like "The Gangsta Rabbit" or "The Disco Duck" and one I invented just last night "The Rock 'N' Roll T-Rex." It was a wonderful dance.
My night started to mellow out after Head Banging to the only Rock song they ever play at our school dances amongst all the Rap "Smells Like Teen Spirit." I decided I would head bang to the song. I felt as if I had had a large amount of drugs after that song. I went outside directly afterwards to have a choclate eclair; I do not advvise it. Not only did y head now hurt, but so did my stomach. I noticed a classmate of mine, Luca, sitting by himself with a ridiculously long face.

I sat next to Luca if he was okay, so he lied to me and said he was. I then asked him what was rong and his response was "Some girl."
Some popular girls then came over to help cheer him up; they showed him pictures that they had just taken dressed up in Hawaiian garb. I asked them were they got it. They pointed me in the right direction, and I was off to get my picture taken.

I didn't put on any grass skirts or anything. Instead I just took my picture in front of a Hawaiian background wearing my bowler, button up shirt, slacks and loosened tye. My only article of Hawaiian clothing was the lay I had gotten earlier. I'll post that picture later.

I decided it was time for more kareoke. I sang "Moon Dance" by Van Morrisen. I butchered it, but I had recently reunited with my friend Robert who was my very enthusiastic audience of one.

I returned to the dance to reunite with the rest of my friends and just before I had walked in they had started playing "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley (the song in my signature). I was very excited and sang along to the whole song. One of the Black girls at our school was shocked that I knew all the lyrics and gave me a glare to that effect.

After dancing for a while, I noticed a very well known couple amongst our school. I told my friend Karan to as Lizzie (the girl in this relationship) to dance to see how Vince (the boy) would respond. He said that I shoudl since I was never going to see them again anyways. I did. Lizzie just giggled and said no thank you.

I then totally came out of my shell, and for a guy that normally dances "The Disco Duck", that means I really went crazy. I started asking girls left and right to dance. If the said no, too bad for them; they missed out on their last chance to dance with me. I swing danced with Sadie which was a lot of fun. Then I danced with a highschool girl for a few songs which was nice. We had a good chat. My last dance in all of middle school was with this lovely girl from my math class. I am very happy she danced with me. She's delightful.

So the last three songs were very emotional. I Started crying, and I started hugging and saying good bye to everyone I could. I had a really hard time dealing with it. On the car ride home I couldn't talk to me parents and I wouldn't let them talk to me. I was crying most of the whole way home. I got out of the car at one point and just walked aimlessly about. When I got home I went straight to bed. I spoke to my dad for a bit. I ended up settling down and I read through my year book, which was hard since I didn't have my glasses.

I'm just going to miss everyone from my old school dearly.

I have to say.......OMG! is it long. I'm all tired now, lol.

I am so happy you had a great time on the dance floor. I know exactly how you feel, it's all very scary leaving your friends and starting again in a new school. But hey, you'll make a whole bunch of new friends soon. Please show us your pics soon.
