A general description of my day to day life.

Right-o. Dad wasn't terribly pissed about the score on the chem test, but at least i have a chance to make it up which he has told me i can take a break from other courses to study for... my final exam. Last night we went over to my grandparents' house, and my uncle and my cousin had decided to come up early for thanksgiving! so we had a great dinner, great desert, watched "mulan" with the cousin, which i had forgotten was so goddamn hilarious, and got home at like 10 and went to sleep. dad wants to help me figure out what i gotta study for my final exam this morning, so i won't be on much. no lab though. he leaves at... 10:30 i think and he'll be back around 11:30. and i think somebody has dance lessons this afternoon, either my older sister leah or my younger sister emily... but for the most part my dads around. and karate tonight. right.

| See title. Got a fifty-f***ing-nine on this test that i studied for for hours. dad's pissed cuz he doesn't think i worked hard enough. i found out that i have a 76 average which my college friends think is great for a 13 year old in a goddamn college course but apparently my dad doesn't. | |

*Raises hand* Woot!!! Tuesday I had the AMC-8, which i think i did incredibly well on. wednesday, had the whole day to myself. Pwned in a Runescape PKing trip with my clan... till i died. Which wasn't a big deal. Called laurel, etc, had a good evening. Spent most of Thursday studying for the two tests i had on friday and for my piano lesson that afternoon, at which i did a good job. friday, went to my chem test. i think i did well but i'll find out my score in... 2 hours so wish me luck. Then i went to mc. First of all, i was just barely on time which pissed off one of my friends who i had agreed/forgotten that i had agreed to meet early to study for the test i thought we had that afternoon which... we didn't. but i still did well in class, my friend jay and i were on a total role, we got like every frickin problem. Then i went to the cafe where laurel and her family were, hung out, waited on some tables, then once the music started my mom took me to soccer practice which was fun. after soccer we met the meierdiercks at a friendly's and they took me back to my friend dave's house, where i slept over. they picked us up from daves house at about 9:30 after dave and i got approximately 4 hours of sleep to do something involving popcorn... i was kinda groggy but i remember loading boxes onto a trailer and then unloading them into a freezer... my friend pj sold the most boy scout popcorn in saratoga (frickin 9000 dollars worth!!!) which was cool.
so the m's dropped me and leah off at leah's dance studio, where i spent 2 and a half miserable hours trying not to get stabbed by snooty dance girls. i survived, but just barely.
sunday i went to sunday school... my class did well, but only one of them had done the homework, and even he had only done half which was funny. after my class got out an 10:30 i played some chess with my friend jacob, read a book for a little while, and talked to my friend shyah who i don't get to see that often. We left sunday school at 12:00 and headed to the local Wal-Mart to sell Brooks BBQ Chicken in the freezing cold. Fortunately, the Meierdiercks were there to help, which was good. Laurel and I got to talk for a little while, and the m's left at 2:00. we finished up, went home with a giant box full of chicken which we gave to our friends, and counted up the cash. We made about 2700 dollars. 2000 of that went to the brooks guys and 500 of that was cash we'd put in there originally to use as change, so, for our 4 hour of hanigng out in the cold and the many many hours before hand spent publicizing, making signs, etc, we made 200 bucks. which is about 800 dollars less than we usually make. my mom thinks it was the weather.
anyways, i've gtg cuz i've got some schoolwork to do before i leave for chem. i'll post as soon as i get home from chem what my score was.

Right-o... friday was cool. Brett came over, we went to chem ( i think i aced the quiz, i'll find out today), mathcounts (where brett did some of the hardest problems there and got them right whereas our team captain didn't) and the cafe, where we went for a walk and got pulled over by cops who thought we were vandals. long story.
anyways... saturday, brett's dad came at like 7:45... my dad and i went to my friend benny's bar mitzvah, then my dad dropped me off at the party. it was ok... the music selection was crap, the only good song they played was white and nerdy by weird al. to which i know all the lyrics. i didn't dance much, and left wishing i had (since i will likely NEVER see any of those kids again), which is always what happens to me when i go to dances. i hung out with my friend shyah and her younger brother jacob, which was fun. i met this awesomely cool kid named Dash, who i hung out with for a while. There was a girl there named Holly... something-that-starts-with-an-"I" who i talked to for a little while... in hindsight, if i was going to ask one person to dance, now i wish it was her. but oh well. nothing i can do about it now.
now that i think about it... i only danced to the Hora (mandatory), the macarena (shyah made me!!), and white and nerdy (to which dash and i attempted to best each other in moonwalks). there was this thing called "ladies choice" where the girls could ask any guy they wanted to dance, and he couldn't say no. there were about... 7-8 more girls than guys, and yet dash, jacob, and i didn't get asked... which is probably a good thing because it gave us an excuse not to ask anyone during the "guys choice" dance. i would have asked holly, maybe, but within like three seconds of the guys choice thing starting, she had been asked already... and i was definitely not going to ask her to dance without an excuse (e.g. i need someone to dance with for the guys choice thing).
anyways, enough about the party. sunday school was cool yesterday, the kids in my class (i teach remedial hebrew) did well, and i spent the afternoon playing chess with a friend. then we stopped by the cafe for a little cleaning and headed home. we cleaned a little bit, then rented a movie called "the new world" which was terrible, but gave me something to do for the evening cuz i had nothing else to do.
anyways, chem test on friday, math test this afternoon so i gtg for now.

Right, so dad gets home yesterday morning from pollsitting (woot go dems, we got house and soon senate!) and is pissed that i didn't get much work done cuz i spent all morning: you guessed it playing videro gamez. so i go to lab, did ok, took forever though and didn't really finish the work so i have homework. came home, did some more schoolwork, had a good dinner and excellent karate class, went to bed listening to npr. fell asleep very happy that spitzer and cuomo won.
now i'm doing schoolwork (by which i mean iming my friends and listening to green day) and will be doing this all day. since dad's gone almost all day on weds.
i'll probably post another journal tonight or tomorrow.

Dad's gone more often than he's here this week, i'm totally prepared for my piano lesson (unusual!) on thursday, and brett's coming over for all of friday and sleeping over. plus i have a friend's bar mitzvah to go to on saturday. | |

| Hey! Sorry I didn't post yesterday or the day before... or the day before. Fridays are crazy around here: I go to Chem, straight to Math Club, and straight to the cafe that my parents run. I get back around 10:30. Saturday was a pretty busy day too, although it was mostly just work around the house. Stacking wood for my dad and cleaning my room. Then I went to the movies with a friend to see The Guardian, which was excellent. Yesterday I had Hebrew School in the morning (actually, I'm a teacher for a Remedial Hebrew class) then spent the rest of the day playing video games. Had Chem this morning, was hoping to get my test score back but I didn't cuz my teacher was sick all weekend and only graded a few of them... oh well. I'll get it tomorrow at Lab probably. | |

Ok, good news and bad news. Good news: i talked to my girlfriend yesterday! bad news: her mom is annoyed at me (for private reasons) and is/was considering making us break up.
more good news/bad news. good news: i nailed my piano pieces, which is cool because, since i was in fl, i only have 2 days to practice (lesson was today). bad news: my teacher had a heart attack and is in the hospital. so no lesson.
even more! gn: i'm pretty prepared for my chem test tomorrow! bn: i generally don't test well. i'm a nervous tester, i always rush through the problems.
anyways, i played some runescape today/last night, which calmed me down a lot. i've got tons of schoolwork to do right now though, so i've gotta sign off for now.

Blah. I got back from florida at about 7:00 last night. it was AMAZING. we went to the rainforest cafe, and to disney for the halloween celebration (my costume was pretty sweet, i was a pirate. i have some pics i'll put up soon), and to this really nice cafe called Cafe Tu Tu Tango. we had a very nice condo at a very nice resort with SEVEN POOLS!!!! it was tons of fun. i slept for most of the flight home since, in the four nights i was in fl, i slept for less than 20 hours. I slept incredibly well last night (nine hours) and now i'm depressed. i'm back in ny, it's cold, i'm still tired, i have school, i have a chem test on friday, and i feel bad about how i acted to my girlfriend in florida... laurel if you're reading this, call me!
anyways, i've gotta sign off now... blech... schoolwork.
