I didn't realize it was the first day of spring. That must explain why I'm in such a bad mood

I have loads of daffodils growing in my garden already. But every few days they get battered down with the gale force winds or driving rain.

Yip it sounds like Spring.

That was the one really good thing about living up north-- Spring's arrival. In Michigan Tulips showed up all over the place. Even so, wasn't enough to keep me there. I think I'm half retile. I need warmth.

My daffodils have just started to peek out, no flowers yet.
I can't wait until my tulips come out.

I'm so tired of cold, and snow, and the mess my husband makes dragging friggin wood in the house, when that fat bastard groundhog Phil predicted six more weeks of winter I cried.
I think you do have to be part reptile to live in Florida, or you definitely turn into one living there. It's so hot. My Yankee butt can't tolerate it for long. My inlaws moved there and when we visited them a couple years ago in the middle of July, I thought I had died and gone to hell. The worst part was at night, couldn't even sleep because they only turned their air down to like 80 degrees, anything less and hey were cold!

My best friend lives in San Fransico and when she comes here she feels the same way. I had no idea it was that hard on people prior to her visit. It's Nov.-March that makes living here worthwhile for most of us, but we suffer through May, June, July and August.

I guess people really do adapt to their environment.
Had my M-I-L not had a pool, I would have died. I'm sure of it.

Oh my God. ((bj crossing Arizona off list of places to visit someday))
Hay fever is really bad around my area too and the doctors blame it on the rivers..so now I'm confused because I've always thought that drier climates are better for hay fever.
Anyway, I do love Spring, but Fall is by far my most favorite season.
