Personal matters, venting, etc... Also in journals you can decide who sees them and delete any unwanted responses, it's nice having that control.

To let your feelings out, let people know what's going on in your life, to receive support from people, etc.

You don't have to do journals if you don't want to.

I'd journalify it, but since i f***ed up Juan's so bad while totally sober, that is not a good idea.

Pity, because that journal was f***ing epic and sorta broke it.

why not just make a thread about things instead of taking me to a page where the background hurts my bloody eyes ?

call me old fashioned, but a forum is a place for sharing opinions.

a journal is something a teenager writes, even those did not have eye destroying backgrounds.

In my experience I've seen that people around here usually find it in bad taste to make a thread about personal matters, I think we're used to them being reserved for journals so that things can be sorted through more easily.
