in your opinion whats better resi evil or the sillent hill series

in mine its resi all the way
i've had all the resi's 1 on ps1 2 on n64 and code veronica on dreamcast, resi 3 on PC
then the awsome remake of the original on cube then the resi evil zero and resi 4 on cube and also on PC
now the tacky ones on ps2 dead aim which i manage to avoid and the awful awful Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and Outbreak file2
wich i didnt
but i've only played silent hill 1 2 and 4
although 4 was pretty good the rest were naff in my book

resident evil, silent hill had a little too much runnin' and not enough gunnin, for my tastes. The same applies for the movies.

their both pretty even in my mind, but for different reasons.
i'll go silent hill, cause it's the only game that ever scared me.

in resident evil i just got kinda freaked out for the character when you have no bullets and don't wanna die,
but for each game that becomes less and less an issue,
res 4 was just a shhot 'em up ....a great one though.

speaking of scary games.

what a great game though,
but yeah, great.
i love how well the melee works in first person, it's hard to pull off.
the chronicles of ridd*** game was the only one i've seen do it as well.

didn't know it got a pc release.
