In the story of the ark god caused a huge that would kill every living thing
on earth, so he asked Joseph to build and ark, and to bring 2 of each animal and his family to
recreate the entire population, not only does he expect 1 man to build a big enough boat to
hold 2 each in animal in he whole world he also expects him to incest his family and all the
animals to do the same. Being god shouldn?t he know incest as well as not sitting well with
the average person can cause mutation?

was it joe he asked?

Alex, it flooded from rain! Duh

Anyway, the answer is that the people who wrote the Bible certainly didn't know anything about genetics or the dangers of inbreeding. Obviously we know today that such an act would not quite work.

Let's not forget that, according to Christian fundamentalists, all of humanity is descended from two people who lived mere millenia ago. And they only had two sons. Work it out.

You people are sickos to question God. No. He does not support incest. The two animals in the ark were one male and one female. There were also other human beings not related to Noah and his wife.

Eh? Of course the animals in the ark were male and female (that is, according to the myth). If the current biodiversity on Earth is the result of that bottleneck, then those animals must have been banging each other like mad. Incest would have had to have taken place... oh, wait, God could have simply allowed them to magically reproduce asexually for a while. That's an appropriate explanation, considering this myth is concerned with impossible events.

And like I said, despite the fact that there were fewer than a dozen humans on the ark, it doesn't matter because the whole of humanity was apparently produced from the incestuous acts of Adam and Eve.
