christian bale to play Adult John Conner?

I just saw AICN's report that Bale will star in one of my all-time fav franchises. According to a trusted source, Bale will play John Conner in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, which McG will direct for a 2009 release. ?Terminator 4? will revolve around a thirty-something John Connor doing battle with the endoskeleton robots in the future.




In my opinion Christian Bale is a great actor and this has made the idea of a 4th movie that much more apealing

Yeah that would work lol.
He's got an annoying voice I think, but otherwise yeah he's an alright actor.

I heard the director they have slated isn't very good.

Seems like they're kinda just taking a lot of plot details and starting something new...

Okay yeah, so hmm, i'm split, the director is a guy named McG. He is responsible for crap like Charlies Angels 1 and 2, but he also has made We Are Marshall and the new show Chuck on NBC. So he's made crap and gold.

The idea of fighting multiple terminators does sound pretty cool. Don't forget they can come up with all sorts of new technology. That's of course if the writers decide to stop striking.

yeh true i would luv to see the war through to the end see all the different models etc.. maybe even a factory makin' em stuff like that

the comics mentioned sharks dogs tri pod type tanks the liquid metal that the T-1000 came from, in the comics was just like a pool of water that laid in wait
theres s*** loads but we'll have to wait and see but seeing as everything has been upgraded after number 3
who know what they have planed
