Writing about this gives me writer's block....

Here I sit with pen in hand,
thought I'd write about
the sun and sand.
I sat and sat and reached
for the words,
writing about this,
for me, is absurd.

The passion of lovers,
alone on the beach.
That's more my style,
within my reach.
Soaring seagulls traveling
to far away shores,
Imagining that my
mind will store.

Two lovers walking alone
on the beach,
sneak under the boardwalk,
with love in their reach.
The beach holds stories
and secrets it keeps.
The night by the sea,
puts dreams in my sleep.

We just spent a week at the beach, I can't write about that stuff.

That was really enjoyable!

I met her on the beach,
her instant love for me
she did beseach.
My flattered reluctance,
was impossible to maintain.
We lay near the fire,its
warmth,her warmth in my brain.
But the time came when I had to
go. Over these many years I have
remembered her love. And with
wistful regret.Puzzled on what could have been.

You know, I have that problem too
I can't write about nature or the beauty of some random sights and such, not unless it's a backdrop to some human or emotional interaction. I just don't find much inspiration in those areas, I find it beautiful and relaxing to look at and such, but not to write about. I really appreciate those that can, cause it puts something into words that I couldn't.
