What's with the Health Care in Canada?

A man was brought into the emergency room in Winnipeg,Canada on Sunday at around 3:00pm and was found dead 34 hours later. He was a street person.

Not one person, staff or other patients, security guards, cleaning personnel etc.... bothered to check on him.

What is happening to our Society when a man dressed in street clothes becomes that insignificant that no one notices them?

If he would have been in a suit, would he have been seen to before dying?

Shame on us as a People, when it comes to indifference to a human life, whether rich or poor!!!!!

Its sad, but its true. We can try our hardest to stand up and say never judge a book my its cover but its still going to happen.

yeah something similar happened in NY not too long ago, but the lady was not a street person.

Well I think this Apathy has to stop. People expect every consideration from everybody when it's THEM, but when it comes to others *NOBODY CARES ENOUGH*.

Hard to figure. The rich aint gonna tip you on the way out of the emergency room are they?

I tend to give a poor looking person a lot more respect and attention when I'm in public, than I do people who are "well dressed" and look like money.

Why? Cuz everyone else kisses the rich's asses.
I aint gonna be like that.
I talk to the homeless-looking man.
I talk to the box boy, the cashier.
I ignore the lady behind me with perfect hair and diamonds all over her fingers.

Ok, now I feel guilty. I guess I'll ask her next time "who" she's wearing, or something lame like that.

Or if she has an extra dollar... hmmm.. this could be fun...
