Weird Beetle

Lmao, well I was watching this wildlife programme earlier today and it was on about one of the world's weirdest beetles which is found on the island of Madagascar North East of South Africa.
Well it's called a Giraffe Necked Weevil and it's a beetle with a mysterious Giraffe like neck, no one knows why it has this though. Have a look at it and see for yourself, tell us what you think, ain't it weird? Oh and I nearly forgot to say that I'd love to have one of these as a pet, that would be so cool!

What does it eat?

I had a quick browse but it doesn't really say anything about what it eats.
I have found some more cool pictures of it though! haha

id see that bein more of annoying than usefull with that neck
