I'm pleased to see that Tom Ravenscroft, John Peel's son, has now got his own radio show to carry on where his dad sadly left off. BBC 6 Music, friday at 9PM.

sons never do as well as there fathers i don't think, not because of they are crap but because of the amount of expectation. besides radio 6 will be off the air soon

Let's hope he hasn't got his father's -alleged - penchant for under age girls too.

Perhaps Jane Nevin was trying to have her 15 minutes after the Savile revelations in 2012, but his on-air response that "I didn't ever ask for ID" when once asked about the girls who hung around the BBC studios, gives credence to her claim.
