Before anyone asks, no I am not looking to temporarily dye my own facial hair

I've heard stories that people who use temporary dye on facial hair and eyebrows had the hairs fall out. I'm looking to put together a Halloween costume for someone with brown hair and we need to dye his facial hair (and maybe eyebrows to match) a red-orange color.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good products. I was also thinking maybe I'd get like a red make up pencil and just color it to give it a reddish look since it doesn't have to be entirely red to pull off a good look.

Any other ideas?

Don't they have a spray type in a can? That washes out after 2 or 3 shampoos or something?
I think that would be better.

That's what I was thinking when I thought temporary dye, and I was surprised when I heard it fell out. I guess the person I told was thinking that stuff you use to actually dye your hair, not the spray/costume stuff.

I've always heard that Kool-aid works great for a temp dye job.

Here\'s a link to help.

I seem to recall the spouse using some of that "for men" stuff in a box. I don't recall the brand, but I think it may have been for the "older guys" who have graying issues.

I was thinking that too, but didn't see any of the shade needed on the website for "Just for Men". You'd think they would have a reddish/orange colour, since there are redheads out there.

The spouse was a reddish/brown. I didn't even know he had been using it.

turns out he doesn't want to use the spray stuff either. Maybe we'll try the kool-aid thing if the make-up pencil doesn't work.
