So, does anyone know why people touch their face when they laugh?

I know i go it all the time, it's like i want to hide the fact that I'm laughing, even if someone makes a joke on purpose. I've also noticed that other people do this too.

Just wondering why this might be our natural reaction to laughter?

Just a habit. I find myself doing that every time I laugh, even if it's just a small chuckle.

I've no idea but I tend to cover my mouth when I laugh, sometimes. Strange. I was wondering this the other day.
