Permanent Makeup

Do you know anyone who's tried permanent makeup? I was at a spa a few weeks ago to get my nails done. There was a brochure with prices for services. There wasn't an option for foundation. They would do one area of the face for $200. I'd heard of it before and never thought about having it done. When I saw the price for solar nails and fills, I decided I could find a less expensive place to go. I asked my aunt about the makeup and she told me she knows a lady who had it done. My aunt thinks it looks fake. Once they put it on too dark, it doesn't come off. I suppose she could go to a dermatologist to have it peeled and if that didn't work, she'd probably need a plastic surgeon. I'm assuming the lady likes it.

Would you do it?

Was it mask-like?

I know someone who has has eyeliner permentally put on... It looks ok, but personally I would not do it just for the fact that one day I might want to change the way my face looks and if my makeup is tattooed on that would be a whole lot of trouble!

I would never do it. I think it looks silly. Artificial eye brows...and doing the eyeliner thing, is just so close to your eyes, one slip and your blind. I think make-up in itself is sufficient. x

I had to look it up. I didn't know women (and men oddly) do this to themselves.

Looks creepy to me..

I wouldn't do it. Most of the time I look better without make-up anyway. But jeepers if they mess up the coloring, or your complection changes, it would look funky. Besides that what about experimenting with different colors, or what if fashons change?

If I decided to have it done, I'd choose muted colors because that's what I've worn for nearly 25 years. I wouldn't want fake eyebrows, but I'd like some soft color on my lips. Honestly, I'd have scar removal done on my body before I'd have my face painted.
