Is it good that the news is going online only?
No, i much prefer having my paper delivered
It's a lot easier to just access it online and save some trees
All news is corporate pushed biased crap that feeds the lambs...P.S., i live in a cabin in the woods

P-I readers say goodbye to daily ritual
https://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29745635/

---When I lived in Washington State, this was my paper of choice to read at work. Kind of sad to see it stop the presses. I've heard a few sides to this argument. One side being that it's more "earth-friendly" to go paperless and online only. I've also heard that the stories aren't as in depth and the papers will lose a lot of their staff. What's your thoughts?

Ace, I rarely read the newspaper (we do get physical delivery), but my parents read it daily. I'm far more likely to go to the local paper's website, to cnn.com, foxnews.com or msnbc.com for news. (Before anybody trashes my affection for foxnews, I like Kelly's Court! )

To me, it's not a big deal if our local paper went paperless, online only. But for my parents (especially my mom who is not computer savy at all) it would be a big issue.

I really don't care about the news. I'll go online and read and that's it. I've never been a newspaper person

There was something to be said about grabbing a cup of hot coffee at the airport, or a coffee shop, and reading the local newspapers....very relaxing good way to start the morning...

i would miss that if all newspapers went digital

I kinda prefer online because it's less of a struggle. Though I like the feel of a newspaper better, I just wish it wasn't such a pain in the a** to hold, fold, and turn the page

When I travel on trains I usually pick up a paper to read, but to keep up daily otherwise I usually read online since it gives me something to do during class when I don't feel like paying attention.

I don't watch TV news much, but when I'm just chilling and can't find anything on TV sometimes I'll leave it on until something worthwhile is talked about.

Great to get online, but sometimes they'll not open there, which is annoying

Right after posting this I actually grabbed a newspaper from downstairs and read it as I ate breakfast
