There are plenty of people on here who smoke, etc. As long as you don't be mean or spam or anything, then you are fine. You could start a thread about why you like to have sex with dead people, as long as you didn't hurt anyone while doing it.

Um, it really depends. If the person wants to use it because they have a terminal illness etc and it eases the pain, fully go for it. If its terminal, they are going to die anyway so they will not feel the side effects of the marijuana such as cancer.

The only hard part is deciding what conditions are needed for it to be classed as medical. If they are too strict, they will still get convicted for it. If they are too soft, many people would get involved that shouldn't.

Its a good idea, its just where to draw the line

Since when is cancer a proven side effect of marijuana smoke? I want to see some varifiable statistics mister! Find em and state the source. . . then I'll believe ye

I don't believe there has been any conclusive study done showing that weed causes cancer. Studies, I do believe, show it to be much less dangerous than cigarettes. I'm no scholar on the subject though . . .

No conclusive studies can be performed because it is extremely hard to get permission from the federal government to do such a study. . . you would have to have 1 FBI agent posted at anytime research, involving the handling or possesion of the drug, would be conducted.

yeah, doesn't say that it causes cancer, just that smokers of marijuana show the same kinds of precancerous conditions caused by smoking tobacco.

Long term use will screw you up though. There was this one guy who lived next door to me, smoked all his life, always wore hotpants and runners, in the dead of winter he wore a neckercheif.
