I think he's a wonderful talent who has has much controversy in his life. Sorry to think it, but could he have AIDS? He appears to have the illnesses related to that. It's sad to think that, but his lifestyle was careless at one point. It can take years for that to become full blown. Hopefully I'm way off and he is just having health issues.
Frankly, I haven't kept up with his personal life; I did see a tour of his home with his partner. That was several years ago. I wish him well; he's a terrific entertainer.

Fortunately, although not a small flu, pneumonia is manageable so no comments of sympathy or remorse because we know he shall live - he just ain't gonna be worth a whole heck of a lot for a few weeks while he's recouping.

And I think the world will cope easily enough despite going for a few weeks without George.
