You have to pay ?2 extra at m&s for dd-g cup bra's.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1178166/Youve-huge-boob-M-S-Charging-2-extra-bigger-bras-discrimination-says-ULRIKA-JONSSON.html

There's been some uproar about this now (despite it's been that way for years )

Personally I don't really care they're about half the price of the competitors even at ?2 more expensive than the smaller cups and I'd happily pay that ?2 extra if I'm getting good support and help with my back ache and posture (poorly fitting bra's don't help either).

They sell pretty much the best range of dd - g bra's available and are bloody good quality compared! I think the issue isn't m&s charging more but the lack of options for bigger busted girls out there. We won't ever get the ?5 cheapies out of primark or whatever, but more options would be good

Personally I'm a 38J and I find it a right headache to buy bra's and m&s have been a saviour for me, they do a limited range but the one I bought the other day was ?14 for a slightly padded cotton bra (I got it because I'm having issues with lace at the moment)

I couldn't have bought that anywhere else for less than about ?30.

M&S? Do they have a website? I wonder if they ship here...I need some better, more supportive bras and like you, I have a hard time finding any in my size.

M&S bras rock

Not that I need much support, but I really like their range.

I have a couple of their Padded Plunge Bras and I love them

I read about this in The Sun ( ) just now... It kinda irritates me cause I'm bigger than a DD ( ) and I'm f***in broke... But I'd rather have a bra that fitted properly

I guess that's the price you have to pay when you have enviable knockers. It's not a bad trade off, you know. Lots of women pay WAY more than a few extra pounds to have boobs like ours!

38J?!? So, are your boobs 6 times larger than a DD? Oh My God, I can't even imagine what you must go through keeping those puppies hoisted and also keeping your back from succumbing to chronic aching!

Have you thought about having a breast reduction done?

I am looking into it after the baby is born.

Also being a J means I measure approximately 6 inches more round the bust than a DD, they aren't 6 times bigger.

Only ?2 more for bigger than DD Usually I have to pay at least twice as much as smaller sized bra's. My last good bra (F cup) cost almost $50, but if I was DD I could get a decent bra for $22. I also hate that in Australia if I want anything above DD cup I have to go to a specialist store. I can't go into K-mart, Target or any other department store as their definition of "larger sizes" is D or DD. My mum also has trouble as she is a 12DD, and most stores only stock DD cup from size 14 and up.

This is all true of course, but the bigger a bra is and the further it is away from the 'average' and most popular sizes, the more it technically costs to make & buy. As a retailer you have to decide if you are going to stock all sorts of sizes that all sorts of people may say they want - but may not buy because you have it the wrong material/colour/shape/cut...the list goes on.

The most cost effective way to buy bigger sizes in anything is to buy them from a larger sizes stockist. It will always be cheaper.
