Australian PM will be apologising to the Stolen Generation tomorow, what do you think of the issue?

I'm intrigued to see his conditions.

But overall, the end to a mighty long debate. This was the only way it would ever
end and he's taking the plunge.

Good on him.

What I'm interested to see is how the new Liberal Leader is going to react to it. Will he maintain the Liberal parties opposition to it, or will he support Rudd's apology?

I personaly think that it is the best course of action to take, and Rudd is doing the right thing.

Its pretty freaking gutless of John Howard to not even go into Canberra for it. It needs to be done.

Great success!

It was an amazing speech and I'm convinced of Rudd's ability as a leader now.

He took it straight on and was brutally honest.

I was mainly impressed by how he didn't spend the entire speech trying to
cover his ass.

And the liberals had no right to be there. Shame on them for scabbing off
this.
