Keep their pics off the net

Yeh, we love our kids and we want to show them off. So keep your snaps in your wallet. You do your profile..pop a few cool pics in AND the some of your kids....'this is my son......my 13 year old daughter....What are ya thinking? Do you know how easy it is for someone to press a button, copy...and plkant that little pic of your sweetheart in their file? Print it off......and off he or she goes. Only God knows where. Do you have any idea how many people have access to this forum????

The forum can't protect a parent from him/herself. If they really want to post pictures of there kids...

Besides doesn't matter what age you are. Anyones pictures can get copied and photo shopped into some kinda porn. Sure it's a tad more disgusting when it's a kid's picture but the risk is the same.

So they have a picture of my daughter.. who cares.. shes cute.. I could care less what they do with her picture, you want to paint a mustash on her or stare at her for hours for god only knows why.

I doubt someone from - let's say - Cali, is going to get himself so worked up over a picture of my kid here in Mn that they would track down me - then my kid.
I also have a hard time with it being someone in my local area - if they are local and that twisted then I doubt it would be off this forum site they would choose their target.
Schools and parks are all over the place not mention grocery stores and department stores - really anywhere in public you take your child. Access that way is a lot more feasible than worring about the internet. IMO.

I do think about these things but what is even more bothersome is the fact that the person starting this thread is so focused on it. Maybe i should take my pics down so you cant see them

Oh, c'mon now, that isn't fair at all to say..
some people really don't think about the things that can be done with pics, especially those with very little computer experience/knowlege.
