I would be pissed if mccain had won. But over the last 2 years I don't think I ever really thought that was a possibility.

Another Republican fighting old man would have pissed me off too

people believe Obama won't protect our country because he wants to pull out the war but that's not it...

Isn't it safer not to go into a bunch of wars?

If Obama pulls out the troops and the Iraqi Army can't provide effective security it will plunge the region into civil war.

Where there were not terrorist to begin with, there will be. Whichever group takes root there,if all troops are pulled out too fast, will do the same thing Hezbollah did in Lebanon.

Not at this particular time. Our presence in the Middle East is the glue holding their government together. I think we would see a great increase in terrorist attacks and the development in nuclear weapons if we weren't there scaring the s*** out of them. We certainly have been keeping them busy.

I find poetic justice in this matter. Bush might have a 30% or less approval rating and probably the 3rd lowest apporval rating for a president in history but the democraticly controlled governemnt has less than a 9% approval rating and is the lowest in history. Barak is just the cherry on the top of the crap pie we are all going to have to eat for the next few years. They think Bush was bad wait until they can't blame him for what they did. Who will they blame then? If the world and the nation survive the next 4 years and still be a nation you will see the largest landslide vote in history for the republican side. That is unless the monopoly of power they will have doesn't change the rules to ensure them keeping the power they have.

It'll still be Bush's fault.

Or if you criticize Obama, it's because you're racist.
