I can not seem to load AVG programe to my computer.

I am running win XP, have downloaded AVG free but it dont want to set up. I tried downloading a few times but no joy it says it can't setup on this windows xp

If you have another antivirus program installed, it may be blocking the installation... Uninstall any other antivirus programs. If AVG still will not install perform a clean boot using "MSconfig" use selective start , hide all microsoft services and disable the rest, disable all start up programs and reboot your system then attempt to install. If this does not work start your computer in safe mode and attempt the installation.
