Ok so im 18 years old. And my period is 2 weeks late. I am currently on the pill, but just last month changed to a different type.
The nurse at the clinic told me not to finish off the rest of the pills in my old pack, and just start the new pack straight away without having my 7 day break. So therefore the nurse said i wouldnt have a period that month.
But its now the next month and my period is 2weeks late, this could be down to my new pill havin low estrogen?
I do feel ill but im thinking that this could be because i was so used to being on my old pill ( almost 2 years on that) and my body is getting used to this one?
I have an appoinment tomorrow with family planning and will also have a pregnancy test.
I just need advice~?
anyone been through anything similar?
Help.

Well, you could be pregnant.

Do you have a plan if you are? That's kinda important.

Its possible, but i doubt it very much.
I was told that having a low estrogen in pills could effect my periods.
My pill is very low in Estrogen...

May just be a freak, as I remember I was very irregular when I was your age. Especially as you're changing tablets etc.

I'm sure it's just you're body adapting, but the test will reassure you. Hope it goes well.

It's probably nothing, just the change of the pill.

It's 80% chance the pill affecting you most likely.

I'm sure you're fine.

Thanks for helping .
I know that there is a possibility of pregnancy.
But as you have said, a new pill.. and after my body was used to my last pill for almost 2 years, it could be my body just getting used to my new pill.
I have been feeling slightly ill.. this could also be my new pill.?

As you say there could be a possibility, but there is also a greater chance it is only the change of pill, so do try relax and all will be well.

Be Kool. In either case you're safe--the moring after pill always works.
