Glasses or contacts??

which one do you prefer and why???

glasses, because i hate sticking things in my eyes and the frames on mine cover a massive spot on my head.

I wear glasses cuz my eyes are so dry can't handle gas perms and soft contacts I can never get out of my eye

See I'm going for an eyetest, and every time i go for an eye test i assume i'm going to need glasses ( I am the only one in my biological family who doesn't wear glasses) and i know how useless I am with remembering things so i'm debating having a pair of glasses at home & at work and contacts...if i remember to put the contacts in then YAY if not nevermind i have glasses.

I wear glasses for reading etc, and my eyes weep at the slightest thing so thats what puts me off wearing contacts.

How are you at having things near your eyes though??

I wore glasses for about 10 years. But only when I needed them. About 4 years ago, I started having to wear them all the time and they got on my nerves BUT I had this anxiety about trying to wear contacts.

When I went for my eye exam 3 years ago, I asked about contacts and they said we could try them and if I didn't like them, I could go back to glasses.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my contacts! I will NOT go back to glasses unless absolutely necessary. When I developed a sensitivity to my old brand and had to wear my glasses for 2 1/2 months earlier this year, I hated it!

I like glasses. I'm supposed to get my eyes tested and I don't care if they tell me I need glasses cause I think they look nice, provided that they suit the person.

Not everyone suits glasses though and people break them easily so contacts are cool too But I prefer glasses.

Glasses, contacts make my eyes sore plus i have amazingly light sensitive eyes to the point im blind in strong sunlight so i wear massive wrap around shades all the time.

Yeah it did smart a bit but the painkillers I got were really lovely

I see blacks dots and shapes constantly now, worse in harsh light or white rooms hence why im always in shades lol.

Well I have like the weakest prescription EVER lmao

but i have to wear them for pretty much everyting so i might just go for contacts with some spare glasses.

Contacts.

Way, way, way, way more convenient and comfortable. With glasses, you get optical distortion, the inconvenience of having something sitting on your face all day, incomplete coverage, and no ability to wear sunglasses unless you carry around two sets of glasses all the time.

With contacts, you toss em in after you take your morning shower and you're done. So, so much easier.

Contacts also have the benefit of complete UV protection. Most contact lenses block UV light, so you get all-around UV protection for your eyes, all the time.
