Favorite PS2 Games

Let's talk about our favorite games on the PS2! Not limited to one or two games, of course, since the system has such a large library, and quite a lot of fantastic games.

I love the Ratchet & Clank series and suggest them to anyone that likes platformers and/or blowing stuff up, though you can probably stop after the first three games.

The Tony Hawk series is great, too. Some of the games are better than others, and some appeal more to certain people, but they're all pretty fun. God only knows how many hours I've spent on Tony Hawk 4.

The Spider-Man games on the PS2 are also good, especially when compared to the older Spidey games, which usually came down somewhere between average and crap. The freedom of being able to web-sling across a huge city is amazing. Spider-Man 2 (movie game) and Ultimate Spider-Man take the best part of the GTA series, the huge area to explore and freedom to do so, and remove the crap like having to buy a new car when your current one is trashed or running from the cops. They still get repetitive though, without a lot to do. But hey, it's Spider-Man!

...I just recently got Devil May Cry 3 SE back for the PC (no longer have my PS2) and YEAH - That game is friggin' AWESOME.

The Onimusha games were really good too but the first three were short lived. There was a fourth (forget it's title) that was RPG length and style.

there are quite a few Dreamcast games on it to i have re got as my DC died a while back

games like Rez and crazy taxi

I've just sold off my Rez - Got rid of Crazy Taxi awhile ago but might check back at Edge for that one.

I have a lot of PS2 games, and there are a lot I like. Since I don't have time atm to look through my whole library of games, I will just mention the best one:Final Fantasy X.

I only play these games all night long..

I purchased and traded this game in about five times before I finally committed to finishing it but it was a pretty awesome game.

Well, I'm glad you finished it. It's really one of the best games ever made in my opinion.

i picked up bloody roar 3 and sly racoon 2 the other day

I loved Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy and The Sims.
