Some of you may be unsuspectingly under the impression that Arizona is monolithic in this regard. Not so (see below). The upper yellow quadrant is the Navajo Reservation which goes on MDST with the rest of the Mountain time zone; while the Hopi Reservation, locked in the middle of the Navajo Reservation there, stays with the rest of Arizona by not resetting their clocks to DLS, thereby operating technically on MST, but effectively joining the Pacific DST zone. If you happen to be touring the NE quadrant of AZ, you may or may not be able to determine the proper time for a given spot by asking one of the locals--but then you probably don't really need to know anyway. In any case, you can ignore this map for now, at least until we (you) go back on DST next March.

Hold on so different parts of America change the clocks at different times? That's confusing.

We did ours last week, that extra hour was nice.

Well, the people that do change their clocks do it all at the same time, which is different than you guys by a week or two. But not every state changes their clocks.
And the and the unusualness with the Navaho nation is their areas crosses state lines, and they make the decision, not the states.
