Hi,

Can anyone please clarify what this questions means. I have 2 interpretations of it and I am getting a little confused.

Is business Ethics and Oxymoron?

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

Yeah, I would say that it is. I think it's very hard to be ethical when being in business is all about making money and screwing over your rivals.

Morality and Ethics are for the little people; the rank and file. In the interests of
the Economy, business is afforded a higher status than any other activity. When
it comes to finance and commerce the little people are f***ed over without a
moment's thought. It's collateral damage, that's all. Such is the way.

To answer the question, the question means "Are business and ethics a contradiction in terms?"
