Ok, so here's a question for you. Do you think you should obey the law of the land, no matter what? Or do you think that it is ok to break a law, if you don't agree with it?

Well, unfortunately, the law is the law...and I do think it's wrong to break it.

There are some laws, like those little tiny by-laws (like in Massachusetts it is illegal to perform oral sex) that are ok to break. And also it is illegal to drive barefoot, which I do all the time. But most laws should be followed. I mean, they are there for a reason.

You need to obey the law unless it conflicts with your religion.

It depends on what law it is.There is a difference between Penal Offences and Statutory Offences.
Then there are statutes that administrate the Penal Laws. All other remaing statutes are Statutory ofences.
For example the Canada Bank Act is a statutory law and not a penal law.The Canada Security of Information Act is a penal Statute while the Canada Security Offences Act is an administrative statute to apply the penal law in Security Ofences in the Canada Criminal Code.
These types of offences include sabotage, sedition, fraud, uttering forged documents and other offences of that type. These are regulated by these two Statutes. In other word the Canadian Security Intelligence Services (formerly the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Security Service - RCMPSS) has jurisdiction to aquire warrants from a Federal Court Justice for arrests under this act.Furthermore CSIS can also enforce such acts where evidence exists that the act has been committed or was about to be committed.

You can break the law but you have to face all the circumstnces, and keep in mind that you can go to jail if yo do that!
