Custom smilies!

you have to hit that little add smiley thing twice - is that the problem?

I did and still only got the broken img. Maybe we need a certain amount of points?

I got that when i accidently copied BBcode from the site i was copying from, go to the add page, and check the links, and remove the BBcode if thats whats wrong.

I was wondering if that was what was going on. A lot of times, smiley websites will wrap the smiley URL in preformatted BBCode for you as a convenience so you can just cut and paste from their site to whichever forum you want to use them on easily. But it won't work that way in the custom smiley form on this site, it has to be just the URL address.

Check the links on the add page, you probably have that included with the link.

You are putting BBcode into your URL address form, that's the problem. See, you are putting this in:

[url=https://www.smiley-faces.org][img]https://www.smiley-faces.org/smiley-faces/smiley-face-groupwave.gif[/img][/url]

when you should just be putting this in:

https://www.smiley-faces.org/smiley-faces/smiley-face-groupwave.gif

I'll try but I'm not expert in BBcodes. I picked Best Smileys and copied the address that appeared in the URL and pasted it in here and nothing.

I tried just to add the URL of one smiley only and it didn't show up either.

Thats why, Bestsmileys incldues the BBcode in the address they give you, you will need to remove it.

Do I have to add them one at a time or can I just add the whole site URL.

I get https://bestsmileys.com in the URL, so what do I take out?
