Yes... and no....

We were looking for many (pics to follow)...

AND while meeting with Univ of Havana (against the protocol) we were asked to look for a particular daytime moth (most of us would think it a butterfly) and we found it... and in greater numbers and in greater area than specified.... kind of a super cool international collaboration (impromptu) that was successful.

Sadly Cuba... Havana is in much disrepair and neglect....

I... we... super loved Cuba!!!

Massively great experience!!!!

We are torn between wanting them to develop and wanting them to not loose their "innocence"....

When people learned that we were from the USA they where ALL both amazed and happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are nitwits everywhere, but we found far fewer in Cuba than one might expect.

Havana is sadly neglected. Their economy is not thriving. Their food was very good and natural. Their booze was sufficient. Their music was great. In some parts (Vinales stands out) they are very ready for the world at large and tourism.

I now love the Cubans!

I saw a show saying that some are afraid that the tourist attraction of that "innocence" will ruin it.
