Bruising after having blood drawn

is it normal? I had some blood drawn Thursday and now there's a 1/2 inch, dime sized bruise near the place I got it done. It's not exactly on the injection site.

Yeah ... very common to get bruising after having blood taken, some bruise quite a bit. I give blood regularly and sometimes get some pretty good bruises well over the size of a dime.

If the spot becomes irritated, swollen or painful, go see a doctor.

a bruise is ok as long as you can still move your arm if it an arm and not havin pins and needles i reckon your ok

Oh yes, I bruise terribly when I get blood drawn. It's nothing to worry about though.

Never had a bruise when I had blood taken... Now I must leave this thread as I feel kinda light headed

Not very far, but now that I look at it, it's kinda around the site.
